December Doodles

Doodles and doodling, I am doing a lot of that at the moment, there are so many things going on its hard to get to sleep at night.
PAPERCRAFTS will be closed for the school holidays and as with last January, we welcome you back in the new year.

Warehouse clearance...................there are a lot of great product going going gone.
Why, because there are a lot of changes happening next year, Elgin will get a new layout in the studio, a few ranges we are stopping and replacing with new stock. New classes for the spring along with new teachers. Lots happening in Morayshire.

And even more happening in Aberdeenshire, we hope to
have the new CRAFT STUDIO open in the spring.

As building has not even started its difficult to say when I can get the keys and
move in but because its SO big and being changed inside to suit us it's
going to be fantastic, I am just bursting with ideas for classes,event and crops.
When something is as big as this it takes a lot of planning and I have so many new lines that I found in CHA that need to come to Scotland. The NE is in for a treat and with Aberdeen airport nearby I am hoping that there is nothing stopping us doing exactly what we wish for.

Chilly November

Its cold, so there are no more classes at the Studio this year. Join in again next year.

Counting down the days until we close for Christmas, this have gone quiet and I hope that you have all finnish those cards. We will be closed the same dates as the school.

The new rubber stamp range has been fantastic, www.sugarnellie.blogspot.com and as we are still sending parcels out on a daily basis to places all over the world, its very exciting and only the start.

As we wrap up another year, I look back on 2007 and think that we had the new website www.funkykits.co.uk and then a trip to CHA in Chicago to do a little bit of buying ;) and then the SUGAR NELLIE stamps which have a long way to go yet.

What will 2008 bring, well I know, do you?
I will tell you all nearer the time but I am very excited by the proposed new venture and I expect a lot of other will be too.

Last few days in October

As we get ready in the studio for our last demo of the year, we look forward to seeing Ms Dowie from Bramwells and here die cutting machines on SAT 3RD NOVEMBER 10-4pm.

Kate will also be teaching the last Sat class of the year on Nov 10th form 1-3pm cost £8.

Stamping Up the party plan company who are huge in USA are landing in UK . November will see the first of the SU meetings held at the studio ( for now) on Sat 24th November. Anyone who has signed up as a down line to Tracy is welcome to attend, you would be a fool to miss it!

November will also see our own range of stamps on the selves. Look out for SUGAR NELLIE.

Make Room

At last the USA order form CHA in July its here, well when I say here, its in the UK and hopefully customs will send it on up to Scotland early this week.
So we have in this delivery new ranges of stamps, papers and more cuttlebug embossing plates, we just cant get enough of these, might have something to do with the fabby samples Erika made using the Jelly winter set. Like the snowman stamp set form Woodware, her samples have been much admired, but also pinched! :(

Tracy is will us again on the 3rd, cant wait to see whats shes created with her Cuttlebug and Ciricut, and some girls have convinced Santa to get a cuttle bug for Christmas, great idea, just remember " don't open until 25th"

October Offerings

You'll need to be quick to get the last of the DO craft promo which end this month or when the stock sells, which ever comes first.

We have a few spaces left in classes this Sat and the next. That is the last classes of the season other than the regular Thursday card class which has been running for years.

November 3rd, demo day, dont forget, Tracy Dowie will be here with the Cuttlebug and Cricut, great deals on both for that day only.

American supplies are in the UK, just have to clear customs and find space in the studio.

Stampin Up News

For all those who I have told about Stampin UP, there is now a Uk web site with more info. Go to MY Stamping UP blog and follow the link.
I think its a fabby company to join especially if you have a craft group who would all order from the catty and if you get a chance , go and have a lookie.
I will be signing up as soon as the doors open and anyone who would like to sign up with me can do so after 15th November. I have lots of things planned:)

Scrap Pink

Today in Elgin, the sun was shining and as we joined in the spirit of SCARP PINK, the bottles of pink fizzy stuff helped to make crafting a wee bit trickier than usuall. Hic!

The pink cake was way too sweet but we had to have cake as it was Tracy birthday this week. Once upon a time,(2004) we called her Tracy Sizzix as that is how we remembered her, now she has the full title of Tracy Dowie demonstrator for Bramwell, DT memeber of Funkykits and last but not least she no longer holds the rank of SIZZIX.......no.no.no................

Yes we had fun, yes we raised money for a cancer charity, yes we raised our glasses and remembered those who would have been there to fight for the cause with us if only they could.

Last week in September

As we get ready to say good bye to September, Christmas is so much nearer.
Classes are going great, the girls, Erika and Tracy are doing a fantastic job bringing first class creations to the studio. We hope to add Kate as a new tutor in the near future.

We are taking pre orders for Cuttlebug at £59.99 in prep for the Demo day on 3rd November, I still have to work on a price for the Cricut. We will also have two christmas cart on special that day too.

Stamping Up will be here in November and we are still looking to recruit those hobbist who feel they could make a few pounds to feed there craft happit. Visit my Stamping Up Uk blog.

Stamps Stamps and more stamps. Bellas have arrived and gone, more this week. magnolias were all spoken for before they arrived, loads more ordered but delivery is not quick. In the studio we have reordered the stamps used in the CHRISTMAS ICE demo along with PUFF.

Wild weekend

Wild weekend as in the weather is wintery and the shop is busy. Yes everyone has started there crafting for Christmas. The DO crafts promo is still not all here, so there must be some more to come this week.

Bellas arrived and went out the door just as fast. We will not be stocked up again until the end of the month, those of you who have asked nicely to have your favs put to one side when the arrive will only have to wait a little longer.

Erika was teaching on Saturday, a lovely table of ladies from Ellon, Inverurie, Keith and local. With there only being a couple of seat left for next Sat class 22 Sept.

I have had a lot of girls ask to be sent them as the PAPERcrafts studio is
a bit far away from most. We may be " at the end of Gods earth" according to one lady, but were are quick off the mark when it comes to hot new trend.

Long time to catch up

I have been around the world again and now I am back. Why you might ask, its a big big world out there, bigger than can get my head around, and as one small drop in the ocean, I only mean something to some one here, at home, where my heart is.

Christmas Craft weekend, Saturday 1st September, we have open house at the STUDIO, and also two great demonstators for you to watch create lovely chirstmas cards, decorations and gift ideas. Erika from the design team at funkykits and Tracy the new demo from Bramwells with be doing CHRISTMAS ICE.

Stamping UP is a party plan comapany in USA, they a BIG and what a lush catty they have, beautifull stamps and a great oppertunity for you to join in the fun and become an agen/demo or just to buy for yourself. Thye will be in the UK by the end of the year and we will be happy to sign you up and then you can attend the event held for SU demo only at the studio in ELGIN.

BELLAs are here, I am for once excited by this new range of stamps, they are funky and fun.

New Year New Ideas

Yes now that we are well and truly into 2007 and the heating is working, its time to start planning some small changes at the studio.

Classes; we still have Erika and Tracy teaching alongside myself, I am also hoping to have a couple of new teachers with new skills to share with you soon.
